Challenge

A fully ATEX certified pneumatic control box is required on a liquid sampling system in reactors, storage tanks or vessels. The operation of the control box with all current ATEX certifications must always be perfectly guaranteed.

Application

The pneumatic control box actuates a piston that mechanically lifts the liquid in the liquid sampling system in the reactors, storage tanks or containers. A pump or other device that can disturb the internal conditions of the manufacturing process is not used.

Solution

TRI-MATIC engineering developed the new pneumatic control box according to the desired pneumatic scheme and in accordance with the requirements for functionality and components for ATEX certification. The ATEX-certified enclosures are validated by a test centre at TRI-MATIC in Hünenberg and delivered to the customer "ready to use".
