Pneumatic angle seat valves: flow-optimised, precise and robust
Pneumatic angle seat valves are used to control and regulate liquid and gaseous media. A piston with a seal regulates and blocks the flow. The pneumatic actuator opens and closes the piston, which enables very fast and frequent switching.
Angle seat valves are low-resistance globe valves characterised by low flow deflection. The valve spindle is at a 45-degree angle to the through-axis. Due to this inclination of the valve drive, angle seat valves can also be installed in tight spaces. Angle seat valves have other decisive advantages:
TRI-MATIC's standard programme includes angle seat valves made of brass for compressed air applications and stainless steel for demanding media such as water or chemicals. Both valves made of brass or stainless steel are available in double-acting (DA) and spring-closing normally closed (N.C.) versions. The brass valves are also available as spring-opening or normally open (N.O.) versions.
As standard on-off valves, angle seat valves are used in general industrial applications such as pneumatics, where fast switching sequences and high flow rates are required.
