Whether 2-way or 3-way, always 1 goal: Optimum media control with ball valves
Ball valves are shut-off valves with a drilled ball as a blocking body. Used in the 2-way version as open and close valves, the low-susceptibility ball valves completely close a line with a 90° turn of the ball. The 3-way version with an L- or T-bore can optimally distribute, merge and regulate media flows.
A ball valve is used for liquid and gaseous media. Whether with a floating or guided ball, the ball valve always ensures the greatest possible tightness. In the closed position, the pressure of the medium acts as an additional seal. Most TRI-MATIC ball valves have full flow, so that in the open position there is no obstruction of the flowing medium.
Depending on the medium, a ball valve is made of different materials such as brass, stainless steel, aluminium or PVC plastic. Thread, weld-on ends, flange, adhesive socket or TRI-clamp connection are available as connection options. Whether 1 inch or 2 inch diameter - at TRI-MATIC you will find ball valves in various thread sizes. Ball valves can be automated pneumatically, electrically and electro-pneumatically.
