Work protection for man and machine with the HoseGuard® hose rupture safeguard
The HoseGuard® hose rupture protection protects man and machine from the dangerous whipping of a damaged or burst compressed air hose. The increased flow differential triggers the hose rupture protection, and the flow of the supply line is immediately reduced if a hose rupture occurs. The HoseGuard® is equipped with a reset function that allows a minimum flow once the HoseGuard® has been activated.
If the air consumption exceeds the set value because the air line has been cut, the internal piston immediately shuts off the main flow. An integrated vent hole allows some air to flow through. This allows the line pressure to automatically reset the HoseGuard once the main break has been repaired.
