A simple and robust pneumatic control system was required for a system for spraying concrete or mortar. Concrete or mortar is pneumatically conveyed from the mixing plant to the installation site and applied. The aim was to centrally control the individual components and functions distributed in the plant. Faulty manipulations are to be prevented, reliability increased and susceptibility to damage eliminated.
The concrete or mortar must be sprayed in the desired quantity and quality at all times. During the spraying process, the control pressure is quickly and easily adjusted according to requirements. The system is quickly vented so that the desired medium can be safely replaced or refilled.
The pneumatic control system was rebuilt, centralised and all components were installed on a base plate with impact protection. In addition to the air maintenance unit, TRI-MATIC Engineering also redesigned the control valves and pneumatic ball valves with reserve capacity to ensure the required performance at all times. The control plate can be easily installed in the system with four screws and is easily accessible and centrally wired.
