Challenge
In order to reduce the effort required for the procurement and production process of an assembly, a manufacturer of packaging machines for plastic tubes wants to have only one trustworthy supplier. Until now, 13 suppliers were used to procure the various components from which the assembly was built. Now there should be only one article number, which is managed by the buyers and assemblers.
Application
The hydraulic panel distributes the water to different cooling circuits of the machine and must be manufactured in three different versions for different machine configurations. TRI-MATIC engineering has developed a hydraulic panel that must deliver a minimum flow rate and comply with the defined space conditions.
Solution
TRI-MATIC assembles all components including accessories, such as the pneumatic and hydraulic hoses to connect all fittings directly to the machine. The various components include: Brass manifold block, brass water filter, pressure gauge, brass flow limiter, analogue thermometer, digital temperature sensor, flow meter, brass check valve, air treatment unit, brass solenoid valve, brass ball valve, steel base plate and various brass fittings. Before delivery, our technicians check the assembly for possible leaks. The customer receives the hydraulic control panel integrally tested for function and only has to connect it to the right places. In this way, our customer can successfully serve the needs of the global packaging industry and completely supply production lines.
