Assembly door operator
Pneumatic door drives open and close the doors of a paint booth automatically, continuously, smoothly and synchronously.
Challenge
The doors of a paint booth should no longer be opened and closed manually. The automatic opening and closing of the large hinged doors is integrated into the control system of the paint shop. The wing doors are to be moved slowly, jerk-free and synchronously.
Application
The paint booth has two hinged doors each on the entrance and exit side measuring approximately 2.5m x 1.5m. The four hinged doors must close off the paint booth during the painting process to prevent paint from escaping.
Solution
Pneumatic drives now automatically open and close the doors of the spray booth. Depending on the application, they allow an adjustable angle of rotation between 80° and 135°. The pneumatic control pressure of 4 bar moves the doors continuously, slowly, smoothly and synchronously. Finely adjustable throttle valves coordinate the opening and closing speeds of both doors. An end position monitoring system integrates the doors into the control system of the installation. The door operators are supplied in four versions "ready to use" with the designations and packaging specified by the customer.
