You’ve recently joined TRI-MATIC. How did you find your start at the company?

My first few months have flown by. They’ve been extremely informative and exceptionally well-structured right from the start, which has made for a smooth transition. Following an efficient induction period, I was already able to make my first customer visits. I’m particularly impressed by the versatility of our products across different sectors.

What excites you most about your role as Project & Account Manager?

My role is the perfect combination of field work and technical project management in the field of assemblies. Being on site with the customer on the one hand, and pulling everything together internally during project implementation on the other, makes my role extremely exciting.

Figuratively speaking, I see myself as the control electronics of an automatic gearbox: only when all the processes mesh together does the ‘car’ – or our client’s project – move forward profitably. It really motivates me to play my part in ensuring that the client can achieve their goals reliably and efficiently.

What do you think makes TRI-MATIC stand out as an employer?

A friendly, supportive, innovative and straightforward atmosphere.

Which project or technical challenge has particularly inspired you so far?

Generally speaking, I find every project inspiring where I can work with the client to develop a suitable solution. As I’m an active member of the volunteer fire brigade myself, I have a personal connection to projects involving fire engines.

What do you think makes for a really good customer relationship?

Honesty and trust are the foundation of any relationship, whether professional or personal.

If customers were to remember just one thing after speaking to you – what would it be?

Trust is built on expertise. Expertise, in turn, is based on the right information – and you get that by asking the right questions. Asking questions and accurately identifying needs are among my core responsibilities. I aim to use targeted questions to gain as clear a picture as possible, to understand the technical requirements step by step, and in this way lay the foundations for trust. If, at the end of the conversation, the customer is left with the impression that ‘no one has ever asked me so many questions before’, then I’m satisfied.

What advice would you give to customers to ensure a project runs smoothly right from the start?

The more precise and detailed the information provided at the start of the project, the quicker and more effectively we can develop the right assembly.

What do you do in your spare time to recharge your batteries?

I really enjoy spending time with my family and friends. To recharge my batteries and ground myself, I’m drawn to the great outdoors. At the same time, I love cooking, enjoying good food in good company and simply living the ‘bella vita’.
