After completing my apprenticeship as a polymechanic, I wanted to further deepen my technical knowledge. So I decided to pursue a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering with a focus on mechatronics and product development at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts, which I successfully completed in early 2025. In March 2025, I was offered the position of Junior Engineer at TRI-MATIC. In this role, I am part of the engineering team that is responsible for the technical implementation of customer-specific assemblies, the optimisation of our own products and production processes and the development of new solutions.
My favourite product:
I find the ToolReg® pressure reducing valve from our own Protect-Air® product line visually very appealing, as it combines a lot of technology in a small space. In addition to its main function as a pressure regulator, the ToolReg® valve also has a venting function, which I find particularly interesting due to its simple implementation and effective action. This means that users do not consume unnecessary compressed air and increase the service life of the machine.
