Save assembly time and simplify the procurement process thanks to assemblies from TRI-MATC
For the internal assembly of the sampling and analysis systems, the same assemblies are needed again and again, consisting of many different components. SWAN Systeme AG hands over this technical and logistical challenge to TRI-MATIC to save assembly time and simplify the procurement process.
As a system integrator of the SWAN Group, SWAN Systeme AG produces and supplies sampling and analysis systems for the water-steam cycle to general contractors and power plant operators. Services to the various types of power plants are provided in close cooperation with the worldwide subsidiaries and representatives.
Initial situation/Challenge for the customer
For the internal assembly of the sampling and analysis systems, the same assemblies are needed again and again, consisting of many different components. In the assembly department, the components are individually assembled, glued, dried and tested in several steps. Mr Filip Lovrinovic is responsible for purchasing and production at SWAN Systeme AG. Mr Lovrinovic now wants to hand over this work to a competent, external supplier in order to save assembly time and simplify the procurement process. This way, SWAN Systeme AG can take care of its core competence.
We receive the assemblies integrally tested according to the function and only have to connect them at the designated points.
Solution
The specific use of the eight desired assemblies for the input and output of the cooling water circuit system was discussed in personal meetings at the customer's site. TRI-MATIC was able to optimally use its many years of assembly experience in engineering the assemblies and preparing the documentation with customer-specific drawings, 3D models and assembly instructions. After approval of the 3D models, prototypes were manufactured and after their acceptance the 200 assemblies could be produced. SWAN Systeme AG can thus benefit from outsourcing to a partner with high-quality products and assembly.
Results
Thanks to the complete, customised assemblies, SWAN Systeme AG was able to reduce assembly efforts and costs, as ready-made assembly components are now delivered. They also got rid of all the logistical scheduling conflicts immediately. The scheduling effort was reduced, as well as the stock value, also thanks to TRI-MATIC's high delivery reliability.
For Filip Lovrinovic, member of the management, it is clear: "We benefit from the reduction in supplier contacts and have less administrative work. We receive the 200 assemblies integrally tested according to the function and only have to connect them at the designated points. TRI-MATIC is the competent partner for our assemblies and supports us in technical matters."
SWAN Systeme AG is now using the freed up resources to focus on its core competence and to react to external market influences.
