Maximum protection for your machine thanks to JJ electric actuators with electronic torque limiter (ETL)

With the electrical automation of butterfly valves and ball valves, the valve can be blocked by solids or foreign bodies that are mistakenly in the medium. In some cases, the crystallisation or hardening of the medium also leads to a blockage of the ball valve or butterfly valve. This system constantly monitors the torque of the valve during operation and automatically switches off the drive when the maximum torque is exceeded. Thanks to the switch-off, the motor or the gearbox is not damaged and damage to the system is prevented. The LED display on the actuator signals that the torque has been exceeded with a flashing sequence. However, should you ever find yourself in a situation where you need to remove a foreign object from a fitting and reset a torque limiter, we will be happy to show you how this works in the video.

First check the fitting and remove any solid or foreign matter. By disconnecting and reconnecting the electrical connection, you then reset the torque limiter. The rotary actuator will then move to the desired position.
