Intelligent valve management

Everywhere in processes, substances are dosed, regulated, switched, measured, diverted or shut off. Liquids and gases are filled, distributed or controlled for complex processes. The measurement, control and monitoring of the fittings and valves in the process are networked and automatic. TRI-MATIC supports you in your intelligent valve management.

Everywhere in processes, substances are dosed, regulated, switched, measured, diverted or shut off. Liquids and gases are filled, distributed or controlled for complex processes. Fittings, valves, drives and measuring devices are used for this purpose, which must fulfil one or more of these functions.

Whereas in the past individual functions and production steps were laboriously controlled and executed by hand, today, thanks to industrial automation, higher-level complex control systems take over this task. An action that was previously performed by a human being is now taken over by an electrically automated component. The measurement, control and monitoring of the fittings and valves in the process are networked and automatic in intelligent fitting management. This is because processes in filling plants for foodstuffs, in milk processing, process engineering and water treatment or in chemical industrial plants must become ever more efficient and fittings must become of ever higher quality.

Control

Control functions are often required in complex processes where liquids or gases are dosed, quantities regulated and distributed in the pipe network. The required control position is precisely approached with electric rotary actuators or pneumatic actuators with positioner. Regardless of whether the control loop is simple or complex: if pressure, temperature or flow sensors are connected to the control system, almost any process, no matter how complex, can be controlled.

Dosing

High-quality fittings and precise drives are used in advanced mixing and dosing systems. For precise dosing, the desired position is approached steplessly. The process is monitored with an analogue or digital feedback signal. High-quality fittings and drives offer the best possible repeat accuracy of the dosing results.

Report and monitor

Potential-free contacts in the electric actuators or switch boxes for the pneumatic actuators ensure that the system control reports and evaluates the current status of the valve at all times. This also applies to ATEX/IECEx applications. Tapping the current position by means of a potentiometer or signal output is of course also possible. This guarantees trouble-free and autonomous plant operation, which increases productivity. If pressure, temperature or flow sensors are connected to the system control, simple to complex systems or sub-processes can be automated.

You benefit from many advantages:

  • You save costs.
  • You increase productivity.
  • You reduce malfunctions and production downtimes.
  • You reduce the susceptibility to errors.
