The NSF-certified and EC 1935/2004-compliant ECOREG® pressure regulator is a fixed-setting pressure reducing valve for drinking water applications. It is designed to reliably reduce fluctuating supply pressure to a preset, constant pressure, which prevents pressure surges in pipes and improves the protection of downstream components.
The ECOREG® pressure regulator complies with EC 1935/2004. This specifically confirms its suitability for drinking water applications. Compliance with EC 1935/2004 means that materials that come into contact with food comply with EU Framework Regulation 1935/2004, do not endanger human health, do not release any unauthorised substances into food and prevent changes in taste and odour. This requires good manufacturing practice (GMP) and traceability.
The ECOREG® pressure regulator has been awarded NSF/ANSI certificates 61 and 372. NSF/ANSI 61 ensures that materials and components do not release any substances harmful to health into drinking water and do not impair water quality. NSF/ANSI 372 supplements this standard by regulating the lead content in products that come into contact with water and confirming that they comply with the legal limit of 0.25% lead. Together, these two standards ensure that drinking water installations are safe and pose no health risks. They provide important proof of compliance with national and international hygiene standards in the area of water quality.
The ECOREG® fixed pressure reducing valve for drinking water applications is also manufactured in accordance with Swiss standards at the Hünenberg site, which means that production and compliance with relevant standards are continuously monitored. Thanks to the choice of materials, with FDA-compliant plastics and stainless steel for internal components, the product meets demanding regulations for safe use in food-related applications.
